Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Prosper Marilhat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in May 2015. In the Orientalism auction, the work Les Dromadaires sold for EUR 7,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Prosper Marilhat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travellers at an Oasis in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 83,650.00 (€ 120,209.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Prosper Marilhat erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Orientalism wurde die Arbeit Les Dromadaires für EUR 7.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Prosper Marilhat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travellers at an Oasis im Juni 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 83.650,00 (€ 120.209,60).
