Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pair of chairs, model no. PK3 by Poul Kjærholm was sold in the Saturday@Phillips auction at Phillips in New York in March 2007. The price achieved of USD 2,280.00 (€ 1,704.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Poul Kjærholm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Set of six chairs, model no. PK 11 in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 31,850.00 (€ 24,134.27).
