Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work “PK-8” by Poul Kjærholm was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of DKK 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for DKK 12,500.00 (€ 1,676.86). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Poul Kjærholm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Set of six chairs, model no. PK 11 in December 2006 with an auction result of USD 31,850.00 (€ 24,134.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit “PK-8” von Poul Kjærholm wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von DKK 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für DKK 12.500,00 (€ 1.676,86) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Poul Kjærholm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Set of six chairs, model no. PK 11 im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.850,00 (€ 24.134,27).
