The work Untitled (Minias Gerais), 2005 by Piotr Uklański was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,604.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piotr Uklański achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Nazis in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 848,642.61).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Minias Gerais), 2005 von Piotr Uklański wurde im September 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.604,37) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piotr Uklański erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Nazis im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 848.642,61).
