In December 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art, which included the work Composition by Piet Ouborg. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 21,850.00 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Piet Ouborg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Abstract, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 69,850.00.

Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Piet Ouborg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 21.850,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Piet Ouborg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Abstract beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 69.850,00 versteigert wurde.
