Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Salembazi Weltevreden by Piet Ouborg was sold in the Nineteen to Now auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piet Ouborg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 69,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Salembazi Weltevreden von Piet Ouborg wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piet Ouborg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 69.850,00.
