Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2008 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde, which included the work Dutch Intérieur De Cabaret À Rome, Avec Danseuse by Piet van der Hem. The price achieved of EUR 5,625.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Piet van der Hem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Café in Paris in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 39,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2008 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art, including 1950 Northern European Avant - Garde durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Intérieur De Cabaret À Rome, Avec Danseuse von Piet van der Hem zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.625,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piet van der Hem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Café in Paris im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.400,00.
