Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch De Kleedkamer by Piet van der Hem was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in July 2009. The price achieved of EUR 3,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piet van der Hem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Café in Paris in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 39,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch De Kleedkamer von Piet van der Hem wurde im Juli 2009 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piet van der Hem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Café in Paris im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.400,00.
