Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work La Seine à St. Monance by Pierre Eugène Montézin. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,658.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Eugène Montézin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nymphéas in March last year with an auction result of EUR 214,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Seine à St. Monance von Pierre Eugène Montézin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.658,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Eugène Montézin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nymphéas im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 214.200,00.
