In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Vue de Boffres, Ardèche by Pierre Adolphe Valette. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,403.56), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Adolphe Valette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue de Boffres, Ardèche von Pierre Adolphe Valette zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.403,56) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83).
