Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French landscape by Pierre Adolphe Valette was auctioned at Bonhams in London in September this year. The price achieved of GBP 640.00 (€ 640.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Adolphe Valette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).
