The work St Tropez by Pierre Adolphe Valette was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,216.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 59%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Adolphe Valette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).

Die Arbeit St Tropez von Pierre Adolphe Valette kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.216,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83).
