In the British and European Art auction, the work Bateaux sur la mer sold for GBP 2,167.50 (€ 2,511.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Adolphe Valette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Adolphe Valette erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion British and European Art wurde die Arbeit Bateaux sur la mer für GBP 2.167,50 (€ 2.511,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83).
