Auction result misses estimated price range
In November last year a collector was able to acquire the work Vue d'une église by Pierre Adolphe Valette for GBP 127.50 (€ 147.74). This price was achieved in the auction British and European Art at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Adolphe Valette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Vue d'une église von Pierre Adolphe Valette für GBP 127,50 (€ 147,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83).
