Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pierre Adolphe Valette could be acquired at Bonhams in London in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and European Art auction, the work Vue de Vaison-la-Romaine changed hands for GBP 127.50 (€ 147.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Adolphe Valette achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Adolphe Valette konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and European Art wechselte die Arbeit Vue de Vaison-la-Romaine für GBP 127,50 (€ 147,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83).
