It achieved a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,432.47), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Admittedly, works by Pierre Adolphe Valette have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hansom Cab, Manchester in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,952.83).

Die Arbeit Bagnères von Pierre Adolphe Valette wurde im Oktober 2013 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.432,47) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Adolphe Valette auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hansom Cab, Manchester im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.952,83).
