Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Paesaggio (From Il Gattopardo) by Piero Guccione was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,053.80). Admittedly, works by Piero Guccione have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Siepe e albero prima del tramonto in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 56,350,000.00 (€ 53,317.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio (From Il Gattopardo) von Piero Guccione wurde im Februar 2008 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art including Russian and Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 13.750,00 (€ 9.053,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Piero Guccione auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Siepe e albero prima del tramonto im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 56.350.000,00 (€ 53.317,56).
