Sold at the upper estimate price
In June 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Place de l'odeon by Piero Guccione. The auction ended at the price of EUR 1,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Guccione achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Siepe e albero prima del tramonto in May 2001 with an auction result of ITL 56,350,000.00 (€ 53,317.56).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Place de l'odeon von Piero Guccione zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Guccione erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Siepe e albero prima del tramonto im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von ITL 56.350.000,00 (€ 53.317,56).
