The price achieved of ITL 56,350,000.00 (€ 53,317.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 50,000,000.00 – 60,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Siepe e albero prima del tramonto is the most expensive artwork by Piero Guccione that we have observed at auctions so far.
