This artwork by Philippe Perrot achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in October 2011. In the Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work without title sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,466.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philippe Perrot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ta mère in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 72,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 79 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philippe Perrot erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.466,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philippe Perrot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ta mère im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 72.250,00.
