Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Maquette of the Sculpture of Terence Cuneo 41cm (16 1/8in) high by Philip Jackson was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in November this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,334.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Don in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,646.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Maquette of the Sculpture of Terence Cuneo 41cm (16 1/8in) high von Philip Jackson wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.334,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Jackson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Don im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.646,18).
