Artwork auctioned at five times the upper estimate price
The work The Sword Master by Philip Jackson was worth GBP 7,905.00 (€ 9,270.25) to a buyer in July 2021. This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Philip Jackson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Don in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,646.18).

Die Arbeit The Sword Master von Philip Jackson war einem Käufer im Juli 2021 GBP 7.905,00 (€ 9.270,25) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Jackson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Don im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.646,18).
