In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Tina Meller, née Agustina Marqués López, wife of Manuel de Izarduy by Philip Alexius de László. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,328.77), 58% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Alexius de László achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tina Meller, née Agustina Marqués López, wife of Manuel de Izarduy von Philip Alexius de László zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 28.328,77) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Alexius de László erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 325.017,81).
