Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Marquise de Laborde, Pauline Leon, née Pauline de Rafelis de Saint Sauveur by Philip Alexius de László. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,400.87). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Alexius de László achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marquise de Laborde, Pauline Leon, née Pauline de Rafelis de Saint Sauveur von Philip Alexius de László zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 16.400,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Alexius de László erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 325.017,81).
