Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mrs Philip Astley, (née Madeleine Carroll, 1906-1987) by Philip Alexius de László was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December this year. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 72,573.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Alexius de László have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mrs Philip Astley, (née Madeleine Carroll, 1906-1987) von Philip Alexius de László wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 72.573,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden.
