It achieved a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 38,112.99), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Philip Alexius de László have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).

Die Arbeit Portrait of Princess Nina Georgievna (1901-1974) von Philip Alexius de László kam im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 38.112,99) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip Alexius de László auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 325.017,81).
