The work Mrs Philip de László, née Lucy Guinness by Philip Alexius de László was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in July 2021. The auction ended at the price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,317.68), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Alexius de László achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).
