Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Comtesse Robert de Pourtalès, née Marie Elisabeth van Rijck by Philip Alexius de László. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,795.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Alexius de László achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton in December 2019 with an auction result of GBP 275,000.00 (€ 325,017.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Comtesse Robert de Pourtalès, née Marie Elisabeth van Rijck von Philip Alexius de László zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.795,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Alexius de László erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Mrs Adrian van Montagu, née Anne Mabel Olivia Trouton im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 275.000,00 (€ 325.017,81).
