Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work At the fair by Petrus van Schendel was sold in the British and European Art auction at Christies in London in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,673.40). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Petrus van Schendel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch the Market Place, Rotterdam in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 449,000.00 (€ 624,287.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit At the fair von Petrus van Schendel wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion British and European Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.673,40) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Petrus van Schendel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch the Market Place, Rotterdam im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 449.000,00 (€ 624.287,25).
