Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Spring/Hint of Spring/Touch of Spring/Touch of Spring/Yellow Springs/Early Spring... (Spring Grid) by Peter Wegner was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in July this year. The price achieved of USD 2,048.00 (€ 1,858.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Wegner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 25 Blues/25 Nights in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,900.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

(Spring Grid) von Peter Wegner wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.048,00 (€ 1.858,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Wegner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 25 Blues/25 Nights im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.900,22).
