The work Untitled Plate by Peter Voulkos was sold in the Contemporary Art | New York auction at Sothebys in New York in July 2020. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 5,095.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Voulkos have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled vase in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 45,107.66).

Die Arbeit Untitled Plate von Peter Voulkos wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 5.095,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Voulkos auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled vase im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 45.107,66).
