Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Plants by Peter Kinley. The price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,936.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Kinley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio Interior With Window (Blue) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Plants von Peter Kinley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.936,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Kinley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studio Interior With Window (Blue) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
