Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Parrot by Peter Kinley. The result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,492.51) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Peter Kinley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Studio Interior With Window (Blue) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Parrot von Peter Kinley zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.492,51) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Peter Kinley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Studio Interior With Window (Blue) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33).
