This artwork by Peter Kinley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2018. In the Modern British Art Day Sale auction, the work Study for Painting Blue and Red sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,099.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Peter Kinley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Studio Interior With Window (Blue), which sold at auction in November 2017 for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 36,892.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Peter Kinley erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Study for Painting Blue and Red für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.099,62) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Peter Kinley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Studio Interior With Window (Blue) beobachtet, die im November 2017 für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 36.892,33) versteigert wurde.
