This artwork by Percy Drake Brookshaw achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2010. In the Travel and Vintage Posters auction, the work While Others Wait sold for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,792.50) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Percy Drake Brookshaw - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Saturday March 31St, Putney Bridge, Hammersmith, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,729.97).

Für andere Arbeiten von Percy Drake Brookshaw mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Saturday March 31St, Putney Bridge, Hammersmith beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.729,97) versteigert wurde.
