In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale, which included the work Boat Race by Percy Drake Brookshaw. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,175.82), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Percy Drake Brookshaw have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,729.97) in October 2012 for the work Saturday March 31St, Putney Bridge, Hammersmith.
