In April 2019 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Online, which included the work Shoe by Peng Wei. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 15,000.00 (€ 1,707.44), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shoe von Peng Wei zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 15.000,00 (€ 1.707,44) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26).
