Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Doucai Cups (Set of two pieces) by Peng Wei was auctioned at China Guardian in October last year. The price achieved of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 6,151.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Doucai Cups (Set of two pieces) von Peng Wei kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei China Guardian zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 6.151,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26).
