Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Scholars' Pursuits by Peng Wei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. The price achieved of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 16,755.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peng Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 2,242,000.00 (€ 264,636.26).

Die Arbeit Scholars' Pursuits von Peng Wei kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 16.755,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Peng Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reunion Of The Lost Stones At Gen Yue im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.242.000,00 (€ 264.636,26).
