A top price for Peggy Preheim - as previously expected
The work Grass Ceiling by Peggy Preheim was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2016. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,389.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Grass Ceiling is the most expensive artwork by Peggy Preheim that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Grass Ceiling von Peggy Preheim kam im März 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.389,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Grass Ceiling das teuerste Kunstwerk von Peggy Preheim, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
