Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Model Holding a Staff, 2001 by Paul Wonner was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June 2020. The price achieved of USD 4,825.00 (€ 4,296.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Wonner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life With Cup in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 240,838.47).

Die Arbeit Model Holding a Staff, 2001 von Paul Wonner kam im Juni 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.825,00 (€ 4.296,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Wonner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life With Cup im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 240.838,47).
