Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Les pavots by Paul Sérusier. The price achieved of GBP 81,900.00 (€ 95,317.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Sérusier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Filles aux grands sables in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,740,000.00 (€ 1,685,556.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les pavots von Paul Sérusier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 81.900,00 (€ 95.317,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 70.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Sérusier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Filles aux grands sables im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.740.000,00 (€ 1.685.556,52).
