Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Paul Pfeiffer could be acquired at Christies in New York in July 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open/ NYC auction, the work Burial at Sea changed hands for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,367.61) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Pfeiffer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Race Riot in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 108,589.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Pfeiffer konnte im Juli 2015 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open/ NYC wechselte die Arbeit Burial at Sea für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.367,61) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Pfeiffer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Race Riot im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 108.589,10).
