Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2017 Christies in London held the auction Russian Art, which included the work The hunt by Paul Mak. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,405.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Mak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Schéhérazade With A Peacock in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,768.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The hunt von Paul Mak zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.405,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Mak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Schéhérazade With A Peacock im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.768,90).
