Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work The Shaman by Paul Mak for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,131.74). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Pictures at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Mak achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schéhérazade With A Peacock in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,768.90).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Shaman von Paul Mak für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.131,74) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Mak erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schéhérazade With A Peacock im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.768,90).
