Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in London held the auction Important Russian Art, which included the work Three travellers in Tehran; and Pietà by Paul Mak. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,403.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Mak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Schéhérazade With A Peacock in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 28,800.00 (€ 42,768.90).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Three travellers in Tehran; and Pietà von Paul Mak zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.403,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Mak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Schéhérazade With A Peacock im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.800,00 (€ 42.768,90).
