Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2004 Christies in Beverly Hills held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Talkeetna Mountains, Alaska by Paul Lauritz. The price achieved of USD 3,824.00 (€ 2,884.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Lauritz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work California valley with poppies and lupine in April last year with an auction result of USD 21,675.00 (€ 20,570.37).

Im November 2004 führte Christies in Beverly Hills die Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Talkeetna Mountains, Alaska von Paul Lauritz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.824,00 (€ 2.884,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Lauritz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit California valley with poppies and lupine im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 21.675,00 (€ 20.570,37).
