Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Desert wash and distant mountains by Paul Lauritz was sold in the California Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,120.00 (€ 5,422.17). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Lauritz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work California valley with poppies and lupine, which sold at auction in April last year for USD 21,675.00 (€ 20,570.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Desert wash and distant mountains von Paul Lauritz wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion California Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.120,00 (€ 5.422,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Lauritz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit California valley with poppies and lupine beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für USD 21.675,00 (€ 20.570,37) versteigert wurde.
