Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intérieur à la plante verte by Paul Kallos was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,000.82) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Paul Kallos have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2009 the work Les Menines, 1961 was auctioned for EUR 5,738.00.

Die Arbeit Intérieur à la plante verte von Paul Kallos kam im Juni 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.000,82) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Paul Kallos konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2009 die Arbeit Les Menines, 1961 für EUR 5.738,00 versteigert.
