The work Sans Titre - 1989 by Paul Kallos was sold in the Post War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in October 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,600.00 30% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Kallos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Les Menines, 1961, which sold at auction in June 2009 for EUR 5,738.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1989 von Paul Kallos wurde im Oktober 2014 in der Auktion Post War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.600,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Kallos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Les Menines, 1961 beobachtet, die im Juni 2009 für EUR 5.738,00 versteigert wurde.
